How to configure Green-API for WhatsApp Bulk Sender Pro

This guide will walk you through creating a Green-API account, setting up an instance, and using it with WhatsApp Bulk Sender Pro.

Creating a Green-API Account

Sign up for Green-API

Visit the Green-API website and create an account.

  1. Click on "Sign Up" or "Register"
  2. Fill in your email and create a password
  3. Verify your email address through the confirmation link sent to your inbox

Access Your Dashboard

After verifying your email, log in to your Green-API account.

You'll be taken to your dashboard where you can manage your WhatsApp instances.

Setting Up a WhatsApp Instance

Create a New Instance

In your Green-API dashboard:

  1. Click on "Create Instance"
  2. Give your instance a descriptive name (e.g., "Marketing Bot")
  3. Click "Create" to generate your new instance
Note: The free plan allows you to create one instance for testing purposes.

Get Your Credentials

After creating your instance, you'll need two important pieces of information:

  1. idInstance - Your instance identification number
  2. apiTokenInstance - Your secret API token for authentication

You can find these in your instance details page.

Important: Keep your apiTokenInstance secure and never share it publicly.

Connecting to WhatsApp

Connect Your Phone Number

To use your instance with WhatsApp:

  1. Go to your instance details page
  2. Click on "QR Code" or "Connect Device"
  3. Scan the QR code with your WhatsApp mobile app:
    • Open WhatsApp on your phone
    • Tap Menu → Linked Devices → Link a Device
    • Scan the QR code shown in your Green-API dashboard
The connected phone number will be used to send messages through the API.

Using WhatsApp Bulk Sender Pro

Enter Your Credentials

In the WhatsApp Bulk Sender Pro tool:

  1. Locate the "Connect to WhatsApp" section
  2. Enter your idInstance in the "Instance ID" field
  3. Enter your apiTokenInstance in the "API Token" field
  4. Click the "Connect WhatsApp" button

Scan QR Code (If Required)

If your WhatsApp session has expired or this is your first time connecting:

  1. A QR code will appear in the tool
  2. Scan this QR code with your WhatsApp mobile app
  3. Wait for the connection to be established

Once connected, the status will change to "Connected successfully!"

Send Messages

Now you're ready to send messages:

  1. Choose between Single/Multiple or Bulk from Excel mode
  2. For single messages:
    • Enter phone numbers (comma-separated)
    • Add optional name and email information
  3. For bulk messages:
    • Download the demo Excel file to see the format
    • Prepare your Excel file with Name, Email, and Mobile columns
    • Upload your Excel file
  4. Compose your message or select a template
  5. Set a delay between messages (recommended: 5+ seconds)
  6. Click "Send Messages"
